EBU Sport has extended its media rights partnership with the Romania Ski Biathlon Federation (RSBF) for three more seasons until April 2027.

The agreement, which started in 2016, covers the FIS Women’s Ski Jumping World Cup as well as FIS Men’s Ski Jumping World Cup at Rasnov’s HS 97 normal hill, plus Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix events. Mixed ski jumping events and any FIS World Cup events in other skiing World Cup disciplines that might be allocated to Romania could also be included.

A total of nearly 20 million* hours of ski jumping action from Romania were viewed during the 2022/23 Winter season, thanks to coverage in Austria (ORF), Germany (ARD), Poland (TVP), Norway (NRK), and Slovenia (RTVSLO).

Robert Portman, Head of Winter Sport, EBU, said: “The Romanian Ski Federation has proven that they can host great ski jumping events. We are delighted to continue our successful cooperation and further develop ski jumping in Romania with the RSBF.”

Dan Mihoc, RSBF President, added: “We are extremely happy to join Ski Austria which is also with the EBU to reach an unparallel exposure that the EBU and its Members bring to our sport. I believe it is of utmost importance for us all that sport can be seen free for all.”
