Access Services Experts Webinar #1: Audibility

This new EBU Access Services Experts webinar series kicks off with a project-based interactive session on audio accessibility. We'll look at innovative solutions to enhance speech and improve audibility for sensory challenged people, principally hearing impaired.

The following projects will be presented:

  • "Fernsehton+" (Dialog +) Pilot Operation: Providing accessibility by means of HbbTV 2 audiosync, by Ingrid Mitterhummer, Technical Officer and Head of Technical Information, Bayerischer Rundfunk
  • "Tydligare tal": Enhanced speech to Improve online audibility, by Erik Hedin, Lead Digital Accessibility, SVT
  • "Bestes Hören”: Listening more but hearing less — how digitalization enables accessibility in broadcasting, by Simone Hollederer, Advisor, Direction of Production and Operation, RBB and Sarah Voice, COO, Mimi Hearing Technologies
