An annual opportunity for EBU Members to take a deeper dive into podcast strategies and formats. The Podcast Forum provides space for focused discussions, allowing participants to share successful and innovative podcasts, exchange knowledge and best practices, and find new collaborators.

Let’s talk podcasting at the EBU Podcast Forum 2025 on 17 and 18 September at MediaCity UK in Salford, Manchester, at the kind invitation of BBC Sounds. This event presents a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas on audio formats and delve into various aspects of podcasting and public service media.

Save the Date! Registration will open in spring 2025.

At the EBU Podcast Forum, senior podcast professionals and producers will come together to discuss strategies for successful podcasting, production techniques, and innovative formats. Participants will have the chance to share insights on topics such as audio content benchmarking, KPIs for commissioning, efficient internal production workflows, team collaboration, and the creation of new formats. The agenda will include knowledge-sharing along with format presentations, and there will be plenty of space for open discussions on topics suggested by participants.

This event is open to EBU Members only. It will be of interest to podcast producers, content creators, programme directors, heads of digital, heads of programming, heads of podcast teams, and others involved in public service broadcasting, podcast production, strategy development, or on-demand content.
