New DG of Ukrainian broadcaster elected
30 April 2021The Supervisory Board of the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine (UA:PBC) has elected Mykola Chernotytskyi as Head of the Managing Board. He was chosen from four short-listed candidates on 27 April in the second stage of the competition. The election was broadcast live on the YouTube page of UA:PERSHYI.
Mykola has a Master's Degree in Electronic Systems and managerial experience with private regional media. At the age of 23, he was appointed deputy of the Sumy City Council and was Commercial Director of Sumy Media Service LLC between 2008-2010 and then Chief Editor of the newspaper ‘Sumy and Sumchany’
For the last four years, Mykola has worked with Zurabi Alasaniia, the current Head of UA:PBC, and was a member of the Managing Board with responsibility for the administrative and economic direction and regional development. In April 2021 Mykola Chernotytskiy received MBA degree in Kyiv School of Economics.
