AI, Ethics and Public Media – Spotlighting BBC

From the EBU Academy School of AI and EBU AI and Data Initiative, this is the second of a series of free sessions to meet the professionals who are paving the way for ethical use of AI in their organization. For this session, we invited James Fletcher, BBC Lead for Responsible Data and AI, to discuss how BBC is engaging its staff on artificial intelligence and addressing key questions.

You can watch the previous session, spotlighting Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), where we talked with Uli Köppen, the Chief AI Officer at BR, Bavaria's public media.

Our next session is on the 6 December 2024, where we’ll be inviting Minna Mustakallio, Head of Responsible AI at Yle, Finland’s national broadcasting service. The live session will take place at the EBU AI Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland. Join us in person by registering via the event page. Or if you can’t be there, take part live online by registering through the EBU Academy website.
